Firestorm Armada! Myself and Mastergunz of  CBT fame threw down in our first match, much fun was had, and much was learned.

 The field of battle, three bases of asteroids around a smallish sun, the star kept the ships from launching shots on turn on and provided a very nice and colorful centerpeice to our game.

 Here we have the Terran Alliance Battlegroup in route to intercept incoming hostiles. The frigates were deployed to act as a screen against Mastergunz's escorts, they did not last long

 Mastergunz'z Fleet on the move! Having just left the foundry and enroute to do a shakedown of their systems when they are attacked by the Dreaded Terran Alliance

 Suddenly his two frigates appear from behind the sun and begin harassing my cruisers

 Lost a few of my frigates, while Todds frigates began to order ramming speeds on all but one of his frigates, some crafty piloting kept everybody intact, but left his frigates in broadside range of my Battleship










Those damn escorts again, destroyed two frigates

 Last turn before work stuff pulled us away. The combined might of Mastergunz's Battleship, three cruisers and his frigates opened up on my BB, however it was a lucky shot from a last ditch Torpedo that destroyed her.

 Faretheewell your burning hulk will be salvaged and repaired!
